Extreme Environments Demand Extreme Reliability
The ONV-IPS33108P, a 10-port Gigabit industrial PoE switch engineered to operate in the harshest conditions on Earth. From the scorching heat of desert oil fields to the bone-chilling cold of Arctic monitoring stations, the IPS33108P delivers enterprise-grade switching where standard equipment cannot survive.
"Most industrial switches claim ruggedness but compromise on performance," said the ONV product team. "The IPS33108P delivers both — true -40°C to +80°C operation with 20Gbps non-blocking switching capacity and intelligent PoE management."
Purpose-Built for Industrial Power Delivery
At the heart of the IPS33108P are eight IEEE 802.3af/at compliant PoE ports, each capable of delivering 30W to connected devices. The switch intelligently identifies PoE-enabled equipment and supplies power accordingly — non-PoE devices remain completely unaffected. A built-in priority mechanism ensures critical ports receive power first when the total budget approaches its limit.
Dual redundant DC inputs via industrial Phoenix terminals provide fail-safe operation: if one power source fails, the second takes over instantly with zero downtime. The switch supports DC 44-57V input with anti-reverse protection, compatible with ONV's 120W and 240W DIN-rail industrial power supplies.
Engineered to Survive
The IPS33108P's rugged credentials are backed by comprehensive testing:
l Certifications: CE, FCC Part 15 Class A, RoHS
l Lightning Protection: 6KV surge protection (8/20µs waveform), IP40-rated dust-resistant enclosure
l EMC Compliance: Tested to IEC 61000-4 series for ESD (±8kV contact, ±15kV air), surge, EFT, and radiated immunity
l Temperature: -40°C to +80°C (-40°F to +176°F) continuous operation, fanless aluminum alloy housing with passive cooling
l Mechanical Durability: Certified to IEC 60068-2-6 (anti-vibration), IEC 60068-2-27 (anti-shock), and IEC 60068-2-32 (free fall)
