ONV is proud to launch the new H51000 Series Easy Managed PoE Switches, including:
u ONV-H51108PFDM: 8*10/100Base-TX PoE ports + 2*10/100/1000Base-T uplink RJ45 ports + 1*100/1000Base-X SFP fiber port, built-in 100W power supply.
u ONV-H51016PFDM: 16*10/100Base-TX PoE ports + 2*Gigabit uplink RJ45 ports + 1*Gigabit SFP fiber port, built-in 250W power supply.
u ONV-H51024PFDM: 24*10/100Base-TX PoE ports + 2*Gigabit uplink RJ45 ports + 1*Gigabit SFP fiber port, built-in 250W power supply.
The series has a clear positioning: 100M PoE access, Gigabit RJ45/SFP uplink, and Easy Managed lightweight management. It meets the needs of PoE terminal access while retaining truly practical network management capabilities.
1. 100M Access + Gigabit Uplink for Flexible Networking
The H51000 series offers three PoE access specifications: 8-port, 16-port, and 24-port. Ports 1 to the corresponding number support 10/100Base-TX auto-sensing. The uplink side provides 2× 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports and 1× 100/1000Base-X SFP fiber port.
This combination is suitable for various networking methods:
u For short-distance uplinks, Gigabit RJ45 ports can be used to connect to an upper-level switch or core network.
u For long-distance or interference-resistant scenarios, the SFP fiber port can be used to connect optical fibers, reducing intermediate nodes and fiber splicing requirements.
u The access side is designed for PoE terminals such as IP cameras, wireless APs, VoIP phones, and video intercoms, enabling simple deployment.
The entire series supports non-blocking wire-speed forwarding, IEEE 802.3x full-duplex flow control, and Backpressure half-duplex flow control, meeting the basic requirements of multi-terminal concurrent access in small-to-medium-sized networks.
2. Smart PoE Power Supply with Up to 30W per Port
Ports 1 to the number of PoE ports in the H51000 series support the IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standard, with a maximum output power of 30W per port. As a PSE power sourcing equipment, the switch can automatically detect and identify standards-compliant powered devices, supply power to PoE terminals, and avoid damaging non-PoE devices.
In terms of PoE management, the series supports:
u Querying PoE port faults;
u Remote on/off of each PoE port;
u Viewing port power supply status;
u Visualized PoE power supply control via Web, the ONV-NMS cloud platform, and mobile APP.
For security surveillance and wireless coverage projects, this means operation and maintenance personnel do not need to frequently visit the site to troubleshoot power supply status. They can remotely locate PoE power supply issues through the management platform, improving O&M efficiency.
3. Easy Managed: Retaining Practical Management Functions
The H51000 series supports Web management, the ONV-NMS cloud management platform, and mobile APP O&M management. Its management functions cover:
u DHCP Snooping
u Loop protection
u Static port aggregation
u Port-based bidirectional data mirroring
u Real-time fault alarms and fault location
u Remote upgrade, remote reboot, and factory reset
u IGMP Snooping v1/v2, supporting up to 256 multicast groups
u Broadcast storm control, port isolation, and port rate limiting
u Cable status check, Web management, and one-key recovery
u Port-based IEEE 802.1Q VLAN configuration, supporting 4K VLANs
u Diff-Serv QoS, 802.1p/DSCP priority mapping, and 8 output queues per port
u IP settings, account management, port traffic settings, and system information display
The series emphasizes "minimalist application"—abandoning complex network management configurations and retaining only practical network management functions, enabling rapid network deployment and centralized management through the O&M platform. For projects that do not require full Layer 3 management but still need VLAN, QoS, loop protection, and remote O&M capabilities, this positioning is appropriate.
4. Stable and Reliable, Suitable for Desktop and Wall-Mount Installation
The H51000 series adopts a galvanized steel housing with excellent heat dissipation, and its low-power design contributes to stable operation. According to the datasheet, its operating temperature is -20°C to +55°C, storage temperature is -40°C to +80°C, and operating humidity is 5%–90% RH non-condensing.
In terms of protection, the series supports 4KV 8/20us lightning protection, has an IP30 protection level, and is certified by CE, FCC, and RoHS. It supports desktop and wall-mount installation, making it suitable for indoor network environments such as hotels, campuses, factory dormitories, and small-to-medium-sized businesses.
5. Typical Application Scenarios
The H51000 series is suitable for the following scenarios:
u Voice and intercom: Provides data and power for VoIP phones and video intercom terminals.
u Wireless coverage: Provides PoE power for wireless APs, suitable for hotels, dormitories, and office areas
u Small-to-medium-sized campus networks: Uses SFP fiber ports for long-distance uplinks, reducing cabling nodes
u Security surveillance access: Provides PoE power and 100M data access for IP cameras, with Gigabit uplink back to the aggregation switch
u Cost-sensitive PoE projects: Achieves high cost-effectiveness with 100M access + Gigabit uplink in scenarios that do not require full Gigabit access.
Conclusion
The core value of the ONV-H51000 series lies in: using 100M PoE access to cover a large number of terminals, using Gigabit RJ45/SFP uplink to ensure backhaul capacity, and using Easy Managed management to reduce O&M complexity. For projects mainly involving IP cameras, wireless APs, VoIP, and video intercoms, this series provides a practical choice that balances cost, PoE power supply, and remote O&M.
